Oliver Haarmann

Founding Partner - London

Mr. Haarmann is a Founding Partner of Searchlight. He serves on the Investment Committee, Operating Committee and Valuation Committee, and is jointly responsible for overseeing the Firm’s activities with the two other Founding Partners. He serves on various portfolio company boards. Prior to co-founding Searchlight, Mr. Haarmann was a partner at KKR & Co L.P. (“KKR”) in London. He helped build KKR’s European business from a start-up into one of Europe’s leading private equity firms with over 60 professionals and over $10 billion of assets under management at the time of his departure. Most recently, Mr. Haarmann was responsible for the communications & media team in Europe and jointly responsible for setting up KKR’s India operations. Previously, he was a principal at Dillon Read Venture Capital and an analyst in the corporate finance department at Bankers Trust Co. He received a BA in both international relations and history from Brown University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Erol Uzumeri

Founding Partner - Toronto

Mr. Uzumeri is a Founding Partner of Searchlight. He serves on the Investment Committee, Operating Committee and Valuation Committee, and is jointly responsible for overseeing the Firm’s activities with the two other Founding Partners. He serves on various portfolio company boards. Prior to co-founding Searchlight, Mr. Uzumeri was the Head of Private Equity at Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (“OTPP”). He was responsible for approximately $15 billion in invested and committed capital and 50 investment professionals with offices in Toronto, London and New York. He served as Chairman of the Private Equity Investment, Underwriting and Portfolio Management committees within OTPP. Previously, he was a vice president at CVC International in London where he evaluated, structured and executed a number of private equity investments. Mr. Uzumeri received a BASc in honors industrial engineering from the University of Toronto and an MSc in finance from the London Business School.

Eric Zinterhofer

Founding Partner - New York

Mr. Zinterhofer is a Founding Partner of Searchlight, and is jointly responsible for overseeing the Firm’s activities with the two other Founding Partners. Mr. Zinterhofer serves on various portfolio company boards. In addition, Mr. Zinterhofer currently serves as Lead Independent Director on the board of Charter Communications.  Prior to co-founding Searchlight, Mr. Zinterhofer was a senior partner at Apollo Management in New York. Mr. Zinterhofer received a BA in both honors economics and European history, cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.

Ralf Ackermann

Partner - London

Prior to joining Searchlight in 2018, Mr. Ackermann worked as a Partner at Apollo Management, L.P. in London where he oversaw the Illiquid Opportunistic Credit business in Europe and served on the Global Illiquid Opportunistic Credit Investment Committee. He additionally served on the firm’s European Management Committee.  While at Apollo, Mr. Ackermann focused on a wide range of special situations investments across the TMT, retail, and industrial sectors, among others. Prior to Apollo, Mr. Ackermann worked at Goldman Sachs on the bank loan investing desk. He began his career in investment banking at Greenhill & Co in 2002 as an Analyst.  Mr. Ackermann received a BSc from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Timothy Austin

Partner - New York

Prior to joining Searchlight in 2011, Mr. Austin worked at Morgan Stanley in New York, where he worked on M&A assignments. He started his career in the Restructuring group at Rothschild in New York, where he worked on a variety of debtor-side advisory assignments. Mr. Austin received a BA from Bates College.

Phil Bacal

Partner - Toronto

Prior to joining Searchlight in 2012, Mr. Bacal worked at The Catalyst Capital Group in Toronto, where he worked on distressed debt investments and special situations across various industries. He started his career in investment banking at Credit Suisse in London. Mr. Bacal received an HBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.

Christopher Cruz

Partner - New York

Prior to joining Searchlight in 2010, Mr. Cruz worked at Oaktree Capital Management in Los Angeles, where he was part of the Global Principal control investing strategy focused on distressed debt for control and private equity investments. He started his career in leveraged finance and restructuring advisory at UBS Investment Bank in San Francisco. Mr. Cruz received an HBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.

François Dekker

Partner - London

Prior to joining Searchlight in 2011, Mr. Dekker worked at Bain Capital in London where he worked primarily on investments in the consumer, services and industrial sectors. He started his career in investment banking at Morgan Stanley in London in 1999 in the Mergers and Acquisitions Department. Mr. Dekker received an MSc in Business Administration and Economics from the University of St. Gallen (HSG), Switzerland.

Andrew Frey

Partner - New York

Prior to joining Searchlight in 2011, Mr. Frey worked at Quadrangle Group in New York where he primarily focused on telecommunications and technology investments. He also held positions at TPG Capital in London and Blackstone in New York. He started his career at Lehman Brothers in New York in 1997 as an Analyst in the media and communications group. Mr. Frey received a BS in Finance and BAS in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.

Darren Glatt

Partner - New York

Prior to joining Searchlight in 2013, Mr. Glatt worked as a Partner in the Private Equity Group at Apollo Management, L.P., in New York where he focused on both equity and credit investing in a range of industries that included TMT, Consumer, Leisure and Shipping, among others. Mr. Glatt also held positions at Apax Partners and The Cypress Group. He started his career at Bear Stearns in 1998 in New York. Mr. Glatt received a BS from The George Washington University, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Amanda Good

Partner, Head of Value Creation - New York

Ms. Good is a Partner and Global Head of Value Creation. Prior to joining Searchlight in 2021, Ms. Good worked as a Partner at Hg for 7 years where she led the portfolio and operations team of over 30 executives. While at Hg, she was also an active member of the Operating Committee and Chaired the Portfolio Review Committee. Prior to that, Ms. Good left Bain & Company in 2014 as a partner. During her career at Bain she worked in both London (from 2008) and San Francisco (from 2000), with a focus on technology and private equity clients, during both diligence and in post acquisition. Ms. Good received a BA in Economics from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania.

Tom Hendrick

Partner - New York

Prior to joining Searchlight in 2016, Mr. Hendrick worked at Strategic Value Partners, where he led U.S. Origination and Trading, focusing on Wall Street intermediaries, banks, and other financial institutions. Mr. Hendrick additionally served as Assistant Portfolio Manager of the Strategic Value Credit Opportunities Fund. Prior to Strategic Value Partners, Mr. Hendrick co-founded the bank loan trading desk at DLJ (later Credit Suisse) in New York. Mr. Hendrick also previously held positions on the trading desks at Citibank and Merrill Lynch. He started his career at Continental Bank in 1986 in Chicago. Mr. Hendrick received a BS from the University of Notre Dame, and an MBA from Indiana University.

Giles Marshall

Partner - London

Prior to joining Searchlight in 2020, Mr. Marshall was a Director at Bregal Freshstream, focused on investments in industrials, business services, healthcare, consumer, and financial services. Prior to that, he worked at Bregal Capital and UBS Investment Bank. Mr. Marshall received his BA from the University of Durham.

Ajit Pai

Partner - New York

Prior to joining Searchlight in 2021, Mr. Pai was the Chairman of the Federal Communications Commission (“FCC”), which he led from 2017 until 2021. He first joined the FCC as a Commissioner in 2012. During Mr. Pai’s tenure as Chairman, he implemented major initiatives to help close the digital divide; advance U.S. leadership in 5G, Open Radio Access Networks, Wi-Fi 6, and other wireless technologies; promote innovation; protect consumers, public safety, and national security; and make the agency itself more open, transparent, and data-driven. Earlier in his career, he served in various positions of increasing responsibility at the FCC, the U.S. Department of Justice, and the U.S. Senate. Before becoming a Commissioner, he worked as a Partner at the law firm of Jenner & Block and served as in-house counsel at Verizon. Mr. Pai graduated with honors from Harvard University in 1994 and from the University of Chicago Law School in 1997.

Heber Ramos de Freitas

Partner - London

Prior to joining Searchlight in 2016, Mr. Ramos de Freitas worked at BC Partners in London where he focused on investments in TMT, Consumer, Leisure, Business Services and Financial Services, among others. Previously, he worked at Terra Firma and started his career at Morgan Stanley as a member of the M&A group. Mr. Ramos de Freitas received a BA from Macalester College, and an MBA from London Business School.

James Redmayne

Partner - London

Prior to joining Searchlight in 2020, Mr. Redmayne worked as a Senior Managing Director at CVC Capital Partners, holding positions in London and Hong Kong over a 14-year period. Since 2013, Mr. Redmayne was based in Hong Kong, where he helped set up the CVC Asia Regional team and was responsible for sourcing and executing cross-border transactions across the region, focusing on the Business Services, TMT and Consumer sectors.  Prior to moving to Asia, Mr. Redmayne spent seven years as a member of the CVC UK Investment team based in London. Mr. Redmayne started his career with Goldman Sachs in London, following completion of a Master’s Degree in Engineering Science at Oxford University.

Adam Reiss

Partner - New York

Prior to joining Searchlight in 2011, Mr. Reiss worked at Silver Lake Partners in Menlo Park where he focused on investments in the software and online services sectors. He started his career in the Financial Institutions Group in the Investment Banking Division at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in New York. Mr. Reiss received a B.B.A. from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.

Albert Shin

Partner - New York

Prior to joining Searchlight in 2017, Mr. Shin worked at Strategic Value Partners, where he served as Managing Director and Head of North American Investments, and served on the investment committee which approved distressed-for-control and private equity investments. Prior to Strategic Value Partners, Mr. Shin advised several leading private equity firms and worked at Saunders Karp & Megrue in New York, where he focused on investments in a diverse set of industries. Mr. Shin began his career at Goldman Sachs in New York in 1994. Mr. Shin received a BS from the Wharton School and a BSE from the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania.

Elliott Weinstein

Partner - New York

Prior to joining Searchlight in 2020, Mr. Weinstein worked as a Managing Director at Centerbridge Capital Partners in New York where he focused on investing in the consumer and industrial sectors. Previously, he worked in the Technology, Media, Telecom group at Goldman Sachs in New York. Mr. Weinstein received a BA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.

Nicolo Zanotto

Partner - London

Prior to rejoining Searchlight in 2016, Mr. Zanotto worked at Gladstone Capital Management, a long / short equity hedge fund, where he covered TMT. Prior to this Mr. Zanotto worked as an Associate at Searchlight and also held positions at Providence Equity and Morgan Stanley. Mr. Zanotto received a BSc from the University of Buckingham, and an MSc from the Cass Business School.

Thomas de Canniere

Managing Director - London

Prior to joining Searchlight in 2019, Mr. de Canniere worked as a Senior Associate at Blackstone in London.  Previously, he worked in the Investment Banking Division at J.P. Morgan in London. Mr. de Canniere received a BSc and an MSc from the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management.

Owen Cartier

Managing Director - London

Mr. Cartier is a Managing Director leading our Value Creation effort in Europe. Prior to joining Searchlight in 2021, Mr. Cartier worked as a Partner at Bain & Company for 14 years across London, Madrid, Amsterdam, and Copenhagen. During his time at Bain, Owen worked on both private equity and listed companies on strategy, end to end execution of radical transformations, mergers / carve-outs and due diligence. Mr. Cartier received a Masters of Engineering from the University of Bristol and an MBA from Columbia Business School.

Steve Colder

Managing Director - New York

Prior to joining Searchlight in 2017, Mr. Colder worked at Strategic Value Partners, where he served as a Director and led North American Industrial Research for the firm’s investment funds. Prior to Strategic Value Partners, Mr. Colder worked at Ewing Management Group, where he oversaw the firm’s private equity investment team focused on turnaround and special situation control investments. Prior to Ewing, he worked at Aurora Capital Group, where he focused on buyouts and recapitalizations of middle market industrial companies. Mr. Colder began his career at Bowles Hollowell Conner & Co. in Charlotte in 1997. He received a BBA, summa cum laude, from James Madison University.

Jonathan Laloum

Managing Director - London

Prior to joining Searchlight in 2014, Mr. Laloum worked at Deutsche Bank in London, where he was part of the Leveraged Finance team. Mr. Laloum received an MA from the EDHEC Business School.

Lucas Joynt

Managing Director - New York

Prior to joining Searchlight in 2021, Mr. Joynt worked at Macquarie Capital in New York where he was an investment professional in the Principal Finance group. He has 13 years of experience at Macquarie across three investment strategies: growth equity, capital solutions and special situations, and held positions in New York, Hong Kong and Sydney. Mr. Joynt received a Bachelor of Economics and Law Degree from the University of Western Australia.

Prateek Puri

Managing Director - London

Prior to joining Searchlight in 2018, Mr. Puri worked at Blantyre Capital in London where he was a Research Analyst. Previously, he worked at Champ Private Equity and Booz & Company in Australia. Mr. Puri received a BE in Engineering from The Australian National University, a Master of Philosophy from the University of Cambridge, and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Kate Migliaro

Head of Portfolio Talent - New York

Prior to joining Searchlight in 2022, Ms. Migliaro worked as a principal in talent management and organizational effectiveness at Apollo. Previously, Ms. Migliaro was the head of compensation and veteran affairs at UBS and worked in human resources at Bloomingdales. Ms. Migliaro started her career in the US Military after graduating with a BS from the United States Military Academy in West Point, New York. 

Miles Rowland

Head of Data & Analytics - London

Prior to joining Searchlight in 2022, Mr. Rowland worked at SHL, where he established and ran the Business Analytics team. Previously, he established the Data & Analytics practice at L.E.K. Consulting, having worked as a strategy consultant for a number of years before. Mr. Rowland received a BA from the University of Cambridge.

Riju Agrawal

Principal - New York

Prior to joining Searchlight in 2020, Mr. Agrawal received an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Masters in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. Prior to Harvard, he worked as an Associate in the Private Equity Group at Blackstone in New York. Mr. Agrawal began his career at Morgan Stanley where he was part of the Investment Banking Division. Mr. Agrawal received a B.S. from Harvard College.

Alexander Ardies

Prior to joining Searchlight in 2018, Mr. Ardies worked at Credit Suisse in London where he was part of the Financial Sponsors Group. Mr. Ardies received a MSc from KU Leuven and a MSc from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Stephen Carroll

Principal - New York

Prior to joining Searchlight in 2019, Mr. Carroll received an MBA from the Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania. Prior to Wharton, he worked at Pine Brook Partners in New York. Mr. Carroll began his career at Barclays where he was part of the Investment Banking Division. Mr. Carroll received a BS from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Ana Castro Henckel

Principal - London

Prior to joining Searchlight in 2020, Mrs. Castro Henckel worked as a Vice President at Bain Capital Asia Special Situations, focusing on private and structured equity investments across the APAC region, primarily in financial services, TMT, consumer and energy sectors. Prior to that, she worked as an investment professional at the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation in London. She began her career in fixed income and credit trading at BAML and J.P. Morgan. Mrs. Castro Henckel received a BSc from the University of Warwick and an MSc from the Imperial College of Science and Technology.

Chris Dederick

Prior to joining Searchlight in 2020, Mr. Dederick worked at Goldman Sachs in New York, where he was part of the Special Situations Group. Prior to that, he worked at Partners Group and Cartica Management. Mr. Dederick received an AB from Brown University.

Prior to joining Searchlight in 2019, Mr. Marugg worked at Goldman Sachs in London, where he was part of the Distressed Credit team. Mr. Marugg received a BA and MA from the University of St. Gallen.

Kurt Rive

Principal - London

Prior to joining Searchlight in 2022, Mr. Rive was a Principal at Metric Capital Partners in London. Previously, he held positions at 9 Story Media Group, ZMC, and Byron Capital Markets. Mr. Rive received a BComm from Ryerson University and an MSc in finance from London Business School.

Ben Ryan

Prior to joining Searchlight in 2020, Mr. Ryan received an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to Wharton, he worked at Nokota Management in New York where he focused on long/short public equity investments. Prior to that, he worked in the Private Equity Group at Ares Management in Los Angeles. Mr. Ryan began his career at Citi where he was part of the Investment Banking Division. Joshua Shu

Romain Tourneret

Principal - London

Prior to joining Searchlight in 2020, Mr. Tourneret worked at Deutsche Bank in London where he was part of the Industrials investment banking team. Prior to that, he was part of the Leveraged Finance team. Mr. Tourneret received an MSc in Finance from ESADE Business School and a Bachelor in International Management from Toulouse Business School.

Catherine Xu

Principal - New York

Prior to joining Searchlight in 2021, Ms. Xu was a Vice President at Point 72 Asset Management, where she focused on private investments across various sectors and stages. Previously, she was an Associate in Global Credit at The Carlyle Group. She began her career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Greenhill & Co. and Stifel Nicolaus Weisel. Ms. Xu received a BA from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Ryan Yaraghi

Prior to joining Searchlight in 2017, Mr. Yaraghi worked at Evercore in New York where he was part of the Investment Banking Division.  Mr. Yaraghi received a BS from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University.

Marc Anastasiu

Prior to joining Searchlight in 2022, Mr. Anastasiu was an investment banking analyst in the restructuring group at Greenhill & Co. in New York. Mr. Anastasiu received a BBA from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.

David Antunes

Associate - London

Prior to joining Searchlight in 2022, Mr. Antunes worked at Houlihan Lokey in London, where he was part of the Financial Restructuring group. Prior to that, he worked at Oxy Capital in Lisbon and DGF Investimentos in Sao Paulo. Mr. Antunes received a Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree from the Nova School of Business and Economics and received an MBA from INSEAD.

Prior to that, she worked at Moelis & Company in Frankfurt where she was part of the M&A team. David Lee

Prior to joining Searchlight in 2021, Ms. Luan worked at Crescent Capital Group in Los Angeles, where she was a part of the Mezzanine Group. Ms. Luan received a BSc from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

Kyle Nicholson

Marco Tinelli

Prior to joining Searchlight in 2020, Mr. Tinelli worked at PJT Partners in London where he was part of the M&A team, mainly focusing on TMT. Prior to that, he was a generalist in the M&A and Restructuring team. Mr. Tinelli received a BSc from Universita Cattolica of Milan and a MSc from the London School of Economics.

Elizabeth Chambers

Operating Partner

Prior to working with Searchlight, Ms. Chambers served as Executive Vice President, Chief Strategy, Product and Marketing Officer for Western Union. Previous roles include serving as Chief Marketing Officer of Global Retail and Commercial Banking at Barclays and Barclaycard, also leading its co-branded cards business in the UK. She also held C-level marketing and strategy roles with Bank of America and Freshfields. She is a former Partner in the Financial Institutions and Organization practices at McKinsey. Ms. Chambers currently serves on the boards of TSB Bank plc, Provident Financial Group plc, Evelyn Partners, and University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. Ms. Chambers received an MBA from Harvard Business School and an AB in Economics and Political Science from Stanford University.

Gonzalo Diaz-Rato

Senior Advisor

Prior to working with Searchlight as a Senior Advisor, Mr. Diaz-Rato was a Partner at Gala Fund Management and a Founder of Suala Capital Partners, both Spain-focused private equity funds. Before this, he was responsible for Credit Suisse First Boston’s corporate finance activities in Spain. Mr. Diaz-Rato received a BA and BSc from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

David Fuller

Operating Partner

Prior to joining Searchlight in 2022, Mr. Fuller was President of Rogers Wireless, the largest mobility carrier in Canada.  Previous to this, Mr. Fuller spent 15 years with TELUS Communications, where he held a number of executive roles, including Chief Marketing Officer and SVP of Business Solutions Marketing. For the last 5 years he was with TELUS, Mr. Fuller was the President and EVP of TELUS Consumer and Small Business Solutions where he led a team of just under 14,000 team members across Canada who generated more than $8 billion in recurring revenue annually from over 11 million customers.  Prior to his time with TELUS, Mr. Fuller spent almost 15 years in the management consulting business working globally with clients across multiple different industries. He currently serves as member of the boards of Mitel Networks, Consolidated Communications, Great-West Lifeco, and Canada Life. Mr. Fuller received a BASc in engineering from Queen’s University and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University.

David Klein

Dr. Klein is a practicing critical care physician at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto and professor at the University of Toronto.  He has served as Executive in Residence at the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute and is an active researcher, administrative leader, teacher and international lecturer.  He began his business career at McKinsey in 2000 and has also previously acted as a consultant to various investment firms and board member for several healthcare companies led to successful exit. Dr. Klein received an MBA from Kellogg School of Management, a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Toronto, and a BSc from the University of Western Ontario.

Peer Knauer

Senior Advisor

Prior to working with Searchlight as a Senior Advisor, Mr. Knauer spent over 20 years in various roles in the telecom and media industries. Mr. Knauer is founder of Tropolys, later Versatel. He served as CEO of the company and its predecessor entities from 1997 to 2009 and as Deputy Chairman of the Advisory Board from 2010 to 2014, until its sale to United Internet. While at Versatel, Mr. Knauer transformed the company from a regional CLEC to a nationwide fiber-based service provider for corporates and consumers. Additionally, he was President of Breko Federal Association of Broadband Communication from 2004 to 2008 and President of VATM Association of Alternative Telecom Providers from 2013 to 2014. Prior to Versatel, Mr. Knauer built a telecommunication hardware business which he sold to Deutsche Telekom in 1996. Mr. Knauer is currently invested in and Chairman of the Advisory Boards of Deutsche Glasfaser and Globalways. Mr. Knauer served on the boards of WMF, Pepcom and Blohm+Voss. Mr. Knauer obtained a degree in Business Administration (Dipl-Kfm.) from the Westfälische Wilhelms-University in Münster.

Gordon McCallum

Senior Advisor

Prior to working with Searchlight as a Senior Advisor, Mr. McCallum held various senior executive positions at the Virgin Group over an 18 year period. While at the Virgin Group, Mr. McCallum was responsible for the creation and development of the Media / Telecoms and Financial Services businesses. He also served on the boards of numerous Virgin companies and led the Group’s strategic development from 1998 to 2012. Prior to the Virgin Group, Mr. McCallum was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, Inc. Mr. McCallum is a Searchlight-appointed Director of GRP. Additionally, he is Chairman of Zopa Group and Argent Energy, we well as serving as a non-executive Director or John Swire & Sons and Virgin Atlantic Airways. Mr. McCallum received an MA from the University of Oxford, and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. 

Stephen Nuttall

Senior Advisor - London

Mr. Nuttall has over thirty years of experience working as an executive, consultant and non-executive director in the sports, media and digital industries, including senior roles at Sky and Google/YouTube. Notably, along with his position at Searchlight, he is the Managing Director for Production & Media Rights at the America’s Cup and a Member of Ofcom’s Content Board. Mr. Nuttall has an MBA from SDA Bocconi in Milan, a degree in Applied Physics from the University of Nottingham and is Deputy Chair of the British Science Association.

Christophe Villemin

Operating Partner

Prior to working with Searchlight as a Senior Advisor, Mr. Villemin held various management positions in packaging and aluminum conversion at Alcan since 1994 in Europe and the United States. In 2002, he was appointed as General Manager, Alcan Rolled Products Valais in Switzerland and in 2005, President of Alcan Engineered Aluminum Products (EP), Packaging & Automotive Rolled Products. Mr. Villemin also served as President of Rio Tinto Alcan Rolled Products until 2010 before being named President of Aerospace & Transportation at Constellium N.V., a position he held from 2011 to 2013. Mr. Villemin has been an Operating Partner at Apollo Management, L.P. since 2015. He was a Director of Latécoère S.A. from 2015 to June 2019.

John Yantsulis

Partner, CFO - Toronto

Prior to joining Searchlight in 2010, Mr. Yantsulis worked as the CFO at Reservoir Capital Group in New York, a diversified investment manager with over $7 billion of AUM. Prior to that, he held progressive roles leading to Senior Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers in New York and George Town, CI in the Assurance and Advisory Practice working with North American and European alternative asset managers. He started his career at Grant Thornton in Montreal. Mr. Yantsulis received a BSc and Grad. DPA (CA) from McGill University. He is a Canadian CPA, CA, a US CPA and CFA.

Nadir Nurmohamed

Prior to joining Searchlight in 2014, Mr. Nurmohamed worked as an Associate at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP in Toronto where he focused on M&A and corporate finance transactions. Previously, he worked in the M&A group at Shearman & Sterling LLP in New York. Mr. Nurmohamed received a BA from McGill University, and a JD from the University of Toronto. Mr. Nurmohamed has been admitted to the Ontario and New York Bar.

Kelly Prince

Head of Human Resources - New York

Prior to joining Searchlight in 2022, Ms. Prince was the Global Head of Human Resources at Waterfall Asset Management. Previously, Ms. Prince was part of the Human Capital team at Apollo Global Management. Before Apollo, Ms. Prince worked as the Head of Learning and Development at First Eagle Investment Management . She began her career at Jennison Associates where she had various Human Resources responsibilities including oversight of recruiting, training and development, performance management and employee relations. Ms. Prince graduated from Loyola University in Maryland with a BA in Psychology and from Baruch College with an MS in Industrial and Labor Relations. Ms. Prince is a certified executive coach through iCoach.

Rachel Liebowitz

Ms. Liebowitz joined the Human Resources team at Searchlight in 2022 and has been with Searchlight since 2016 as an Executive Assistant. She received a MA in Art History from Hunter College, City University of New York and a BA in Art History from Brandeis University.

Marina Greene

Managing Director, Investor Relations - New York

Prior to joining Searchlight in 2019, Ms. Greene was Head of Marketing and Investor Relations at Varagon Capital Partners.  Previously, Ms. Greene worked at BlackRock, where she raised capital for hedge fund and private credit offerings and at Anchorage Capital Group, where she managed the firm’s relationships with a range of domestic and foreign institutional investors, including pension plans, endowments, foundations and sovereign wealth funds. She earned a Bachelors of Commerce degree from McGill University and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.

Richard Maass

Prior to joining Searchlight in 2016, Mr. Maass worked as an Associate at Riverstone Holdings in New York where he focused on investments in the energy industry. Prior to joining Searchlight in 2019, Ms. Iyer worked as an Associate Director at UBS in the Private Funds Group where she worked on capital raising of private equity funds as well as secondary transactions. Ms. Iyer received a BA from Colby College.

Sheila Kim

Prior to joining Searchlight in 2021, Ms. Kim worked as a Senior Associate at Wafra in New York, where she focused on investor relations and business development efforts. Previously, she worked in the investor relations teams at QVT Financial and Hellman & Friedman in New York and San Francisco, respectively. Allen Lo

Senior Controller, Funds - Toronto

Prior to joining Searchlight in 2015, Mr. Lo worked as the Controller of the Structured Credit group within the Finance team at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce in Toronto, after having previously served as an Executive Director in the Finance Policy group. Prior to CIBC, he served as Manager, Investment Accounting with the OPSEU Pension Trust overseeing their complete investment portfolio. Mr. Lo started his career in 1997 at KPMG in Toronto where he ultimately became a Manager in the Audit and Assurance group. Mr. Lo received a BA and MAcc from the University of Waterloo. Dominic Mitchell

Prior to joining Searchlight in 2017, Mr. Mitchell worked as the Controller of TransUnion of Canada in Ontario. Prior to TransUnion of Canada, he served as Senior Business Advisor at RBC in Toronto, responsible for the financial reporting and analysis of RBC’s commercial lending portfolio. Mr. Mitchell previously served as Head of Finance with EQT in Guernsey, and as Controller for Bridgepoint Capital in London.
