Searchlight Capital Partners Retains Andrew Crowston as a Senior Advisor

Andrew Crowston adds significant debt investment experience to Searchlight’s European team

London, 1 April 2020: Searchlight Capital Partners, L.P. (“Searchlight” or “the Firm”), a leading global private investment firm, announced today the appointment of Andrew Crowston as a Senior Advisor.

Mr. Crowston is a distressed debt specialist, having gained over thirty years of industry experience at some of Europe’s most renowned firms. Having begun his career at Citicorp International, in 1997 Mr. Crowston helped to launch the company’s European distressed debt investing and trading business. He then spent nine years at Goldman Sachs International where he was co-head of the European Distressed Desk and Head of Sales and Sourcing, before joining ADM Capital Europe as a Partner, where he executed credit transactions across Europe. In 2009, Mr. Crowston joined UBS International as Managing Director of the group’s EMEA distressed debt and high yield trading desk. More recently Andrew has worked with TJP Partners, where he advised CEE central banks on non-performing loan strategy, and Davidson Kempner Partners where he set up the distressed origination business for Europe. Immediately before joining Searchlight, Mr. Crowston was a Partner at Novalpina Capital where he was part of the private equity and special situations fund.
